Pastel eos Lotions!

Hello Lovelies! I know winter is almost over but with the crazy snow storms hitting the north, I thought I'd share the last bit of my winter loving with ya'll! I love my eos lip balm and have been using if for months now so I decided to try the eos lotion as well. The packaging is what caught my attention first. It was so cute and easter-like!
The container is lightweight and fits perfectly in a purse. The curve of the packaging also fits in the palm of my hand.
Its easy to open and doesn't spill out. The cap stays tight and doesn't open in your purse.
The lotion has a sweet floral scent. It has a light and non-oily consistency. It keeps moisture locked in for many hours till I wash my hands again. Overall, I love this product and definitely recommend it!

Till next time :)

My First Time: False Eyelashes

Hello lovelies! I used false lashes for the first time for a banquet last month. I wanted to share my experience with some of you first timers too. I've always been turned off by false eyelashes cause I thought they were fake looking on my eyes and the process is tedious. After I did it once, it wasn't too bad. It's a lot easier to apply them on someone else than applying them on myself. The brand I used were Shisem Lashes.

I bought 4 packs at TheFaceShop. I have 2 more pairs that I am selling here :) Each of these packs comes with one pair of lashes and a small tube of glue. The glue applies with a hint of blue but dries completely clear. It is easier to put liner on before or after you apply lashes, according to your preference. The lashes are the perfect size for my eyes, but you are always welcome to cut to your natural eye lash length. Shisem lashes are very natural looking, they enhance what you already have but won't make it obvious that you have falsies on.

To apply, just gently pull the lashes off the adhesive strip inside the plastic box. Be very careful not to break the lash or stretch the lashes. Take the tube of glue out and poke a hole in the tip. Add a tiny strip of glue along the edge of the lash from corner to corner. Match up the glue-applied lash with one corner of your eye and gently press on as close to your natural lash line as possible until it reaches the other corner of your eye.

To remove, just soak a cotton round with makeup remover and place it on your eye for 10-15 seconds and slowly peel the falsie off. My friend had applied too my glue on one of my eyes so mine was a bit harder to pull off, but it did eventually come off. I didn't get a chance to take a close-up picture of how they looked on my eyes cause we were in a hurry to get to the benefit dinner I attended. I will to a before and after photo of my natural lashes vs the Shisem lashes next time I wear them. For now, I will post a picture of how we looked with the lashes on. Can you tell the falsies?

Till next time :)

2013: New Beginnings and New Reviews!

Hello my lovelies! I have taken a long and tedious hiatus from this blog but for good reason I assure you. My school/work life is taking over and I am getting more classes a week as the semester go by. The good news is I will be finally getting my Masters in December of this year. Fingers crossed! The bad news is I will be in and out of this blog till then. I will try my hardest to share with you my products and suggestions as I try new things out. Please follow me with your loving hearts and don't doubt that I will work very hard to keep ya'll updated! :) With that said, I wanted to tell ya'll about a hair product I have been absolutely loving!

Longer hair, Faster
Strengthens hair
Anti-breakage formula
Sulfate free
For all hair types

This duo has saved my hair and it really has made a difference in growth. Since I highlighted my hair last year, its been dry, brittle and damaged. I've tried numerous different shampoo's such as LUSH shampoo bars (great for volume), Herbal Essence (good for shine) and Fekkai (didn't see much of a difference). With the NYM's set, I really noticed that my hair was been smoother and easier to brush through. I still have significant hair loss but that is from stress and lack of sleep -.- I also like that this formula does not have any harmful sulfate or other chemicals. As a plus, it smells like strawberry milk, which I adore! So if your hair is stubborn and doesn't grow or is damaged and dry, definitely try this pair!! Its pretty cheap too. I buy it from Drugstore.com for $5.99 each~

Till next time :)
